The legalization of cryptocurrency assets in Hong Kong is so convenient for people in the crypto circle. I just arrived in Hong Kong today, and when I was leaving the airport, I exchanged some RMB for HKD at a money exchange shop. The exchange rate was surprisingly 1:1, which translates to an 8% currency exchange fee that is outrageously high. So, I looked up local USDT exchange shops on Google and had a hands-on experience of the convenience of digital currency: I exchanged 15,000 USDT for HKD, and as soon as I transferred it to my wallet, they immediately started counting the cash. The fee was around 1%, and I ended up with 116,000 HKD.
