What upsets me is not that life is expensive, but that our life is cheap.

On the other hand, no matter how expensive life is compared to other countries, we always receive quality service like a 5th World citizen despite its high cost.

You buy/rent a house, it is not earthquake resistant, its columns are made of sea sand.

You buy a car, you pay 5 times more than a European, it comes with a smaller engine than the ones there.

At the simplest, you can subscribe to Netflix for more than in Europe and America, but most series and movies cannot be watched in Turkey.

The worst thing is that you can go to a hotel in Bolu for more than a ski resort in St. Moritz, but there is no fire escape, no inspection, you burn to death or jump from a height.

I would like to say that this is a lesson to us, but unfortunately it does not teach anyone.
