Bonus link🎁Tigran Gambaryan, a top manager at the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, expressed his willingness to work in federal law enforcement agencies of the US President Donald Trump administration. He said this in an interview with CoinDesk 💬💼.

Bitcoin 2024 conference organizer David Bailey and Kraken's head of strategic initiatives Tracy Hoyos-Lopez had previously recommended Gambaryan for several high-level positions, according to people familiar with the matter 📊📈, including the positions of head of the SEC's cryptocurrency division and head of the FBI's cyber division 🔐💻.

In media comments, Gambaryan noted that while he is not a politician, during Trump’s last presidential term he led several high-profile investigations as a federal IRS agent 🕵️‍♂️📑.

Binance CEO Richard Teng commented on the possible transition of his colleague to Trump's team:

“At the moment, Tigran is still a member of our team; we will see what his intentions are. I am not familiar with the course of his thoughts and the processes in the US administration” 🤔🤷‍♂️.

Last year, Nigerian authorities arrested Gambaryan and the director of Binance for West and East Africa, Nadim Anjarwala, as part of an investigation into money laundering and tax evasion 💸⚖️.

Gambaryan spent eight months in the correctional center Kudje in Abuja 🏛️⏳. In October, the Nigerian government dropped all charges against him 👏. The main reasons for the cessation of criminal prosecution were diplomatic intervention and the degree of the accused’s alleged involvement in the crimes 🌍🤝.
