XRP Under Attack: Accusations Intensify Debate Over Coinbase Delisting
Alexander Leishman, CEO of Bitcoin investment firm River, and Walker, host of The Bitcoin Podcast, have expressed strong skepticism about Ripple. Leishman has even called for Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) to remove XRP from its platform. "Brian Armstrong, stand up for our industry and Ripple. They are traitors and supporting their cause is a mistake," Leishman said. He also accused Ripple of seeking support from the Trump administration after years of criticizing Bitcoin and funding Democratic campaigns.
NOTE: Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen sparked controversy by donating $11.8 million to committees that supported Kamala Harris, Trump's political opponent. This led to accusations that Ripple was trying to exert political influence to gain advantages regardless of party affiliations
