$BTC MicroStrategy Company has acquired 2% of the world's Bitcoin supply.

Currently, MicroStrategy owns 461,000 BTC, which accounts for about 2% of the total Bitcoin volume. The crypto assets were purchased at an average price of about $63,610 per coin.

The funds for acquiring the new batch of Bitcoins were sourced from investors attracted during the placement of 3,012,072 company shares. As of January 20, shares worth $5.42 billion remain available for sale from the planned $21 billion to be spent on purchasing Bitcoins. At current BTC prices, the raised funds will be sufficient to acquire about 50,000 BTC.
