$BTC $ETH Elon Musk's Trump inauguration salute sparks controversy

Billionaire Elon Musk's hand gesture during his speech at President Donald Trump's inauguration has drawn comparisons online to the Nazi salute made famous by German leader Adolf Hitler.

Musk took the stage at the Capital One Arena in Washington to thunderous cheers, swinging his arms and saying, "This was no ordinary victory. This was a crossroads in the path of human civilization." He added, "This is really important. Thank you for making this happen."

Musk tapped his right hand over his heart, with his fingers spread apart, then extended his right arm outward, angled upward, palm down, fingers clasped together. He then turned and gestured in the same manner to the crowd behind him.
