#BTCBreaksATH
Bitcoin's all-time high (ATH) has been a topic of interest for many. The most recent ATH was $104,632, reached on December 17, 2024.¹ However, there have been other notable ATHs throughout Bitcoin's history.
In March 2024, Bitcoin's price surged to $73,084, shortly after the historic Bitcoin ETF approvals by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).² This event marked a significant milestone in Bitcoin's journey, demonstrating its growing mainstream acceptance.
Prior to that, Bitcoin's price had experienced significant fluctuations. For instance, in March 2020, the onset of the global pandemic led to a decline in Bitcoin's value to $6,483.72 per BTC.³
Throughout its history, Bitcoin has demonstrated resilience and adaptability, with its price influenced by various factors, including regulatory developments, global economic trends, and mainstream acceptance.
