Binance has completed the Polygon (MATIC) token swap for Polygon (POL) and opened deposits and withdrawals for the new POL tokens. Spot trading is also available for POL/BNB, POL/BRL, POL/BTC, POL/ETH, POL/EUR, POL/FDUSD, POL/JPY, POL/TRY, POL/USDC, and POL/USDT pairs.
The token swap was a major update for Polygon, moving from MATIC to the new POL token. This transition is part of the 2.0 roadmap that is shaping the future of Polygon.

On September 10, 2024, at 03:00 (UTC), Binance delisted all MATIC spot trading pairs.
All MATIC tokens were exchanged for POL at the rate of 1 MATIC = 1 POL
