Sygnum, a crypto-focused bank with headquarters in Zurich and Singapore, has reached a valuation of $1 billion following a $58 million funding round. The investment was led by Fulgur Ventures, with participation from both existing and new investors. Sygnum plans to utilize the funds to expand its presence in Europe, launch operations in Hong Kong, and enhance its infrastructure and product offerings. The company, which offers services such as crypto trading, asset custody, and interest-earning accounts for institutional clients, has reported significant revenue growth in 2024.
