One of the scams in trading #P2P is called the third party and it consists of three people: the #P2P trader, the scammer and a third party who has nothing to do with the trading:
The scammer communicates with the third party outside the platform or through other platforms, and convinces him to pay for a certain service or commodity.
At the same time, the scammer requests to buy #USDT on the trading platform from the trader, and the scammer sends the trader's payment information to the third party, who pays on the trader's account.
Here the trader will release the USDT to the scammer because he has already received the money.
🔴 Result:
The third party will discover that the item he paid for did not reach him and that he was defrauded. He will pursue the account holder (the merchant) legally. Thus, the fraudster has obtained the #USDT without paying any amount, leaving behind two victims: the third party and the merchant.
🔴 Solution:
The only solution to avoid this fraud is that you, as a p2p merchant, put a condition in the description that you do not accept payment through a third party and that the buyer must pay with a payment method bearing the same name as his authorized name on the trading platform.
