There is a pervasive sense of unease in the market right now, and no one can predict the upcoming trends. This is because the major players have just finished taking long positions and are now consolidating their funds. In reality, the direction of the market is determined by the vast majority of retail investors and speculative funds. If you large investors go long, the major players will lure you in and then turn against you. My view is that the pullback is not sufficient!
There is nothing new under the sun; the financial market has always ended with big fish eating small fish. Those who make money are typically early entrants or closely aligned with major players. The rest are merely porters carrying the sedan chair for the major players, working hard for no reward! As the year comes to a close, I hope everyone remains cautious and saves some funds for the New Year.
