When a coin starts to rise, should I chase the high?

If a coin skyrockets, I would only chase it if it is the leader of a new sector; I generally do not chase the rise of old narratives.

For old coins like Zen and Mana, I will not chase the high.

For example, in November, the leading coin in the metaverse, Mana, once soared, but it has already halved from its peak.

The reason I do not chase the high is that the metaverse is not a new narrative, and there are not many retail buyers; you have no idea where the big players will stop driving the price up and start distributing their chips.

However, for AI agents or hype new narratives, I often see them as early opportunities; if I jump in, I generally can make a profit because there will be many latecomers who will take over my position.

Just like the metaverse that soared in November, which is now down 40%.

I will not chase the rise of these old narratives.

Embrace new narratives and new hotspots instead of gambling against the big players.
