#经历

In 2013, while working at Ping An Insurance in Shenzhen, a colleague kept urging me to buy Bitcoin/$BTC. I was bothered by him almost every day, and eventually, I was tempted. I spent two-thirds of a month's salary, buying five Bitcoins for 3,500 yuan. After buying, I monitored the price daily; for several months, I not only didn't make a profit but also lost a few hundred yuan, so I stopped checking. A month later, when I opened my account again, I found the funds had risen to 7,000 yuan, and I immediately sold it.

After selling, I deeply felt the charm of cryptocurrency. Since then, I've been hoping Bitcoin would drop back to around 100 USD to buy in again, but I've been waiting until now without that opportunity.

In 2017, I started paying attention to Filecoin ($FIL). After being persuaded by a friend, I spent over 200,000 RMB to buy mining machines. I was waiting for the Filecoin mainnet to go live, but I ended up waiting for several years.

By 2019, I had 1 million in spare cash and was more sensitive to the cryptocurrency market. Based on various information and signals, I bought 1,001 Ethereum, spending a total of 950,000, and used the remaining money to buy Ripple.

In October 2020, everything went as I expected: Ethereum rose to 2,700 yuan, Ripple also surged, and my total funds approached 3 million.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited Filecoin mainnet finally went live, and I discovered that the mining machines I bought early on were actually fake; the project team had already run off with the money.

After going through so much, I sold all my coins and bought 2 million Filecoin on Huobi, with the transaction price between 150 to 170 yuan, putting all in. Unexpectedly, the remaining Ethereum rose to 2 million, and I realized my perspective was still too small. I immediately cashed out into USDT, planning to buy back when the price fell, but I never got the chance again. Later, I gradually cashed out and bought two houses; at that time, large transactions were not so strict.

Then I watched as Filecoin soared to a high of 1,000 yuan, with total assets exceeding 10 million. At that time, I always thought Filecoin, this rising star, would eventually become the top cryptocurrency like Ethereum after some time.

When Filecoin reached 1,400 yuan, I held nearly 13,000 Filecoin, with assets close to 16 million RMB. I felt both calm and happy, believing this was the outcome of my predictions, and I planned to hold on.

A friend advised me: 'You are already a multi-millionaire, why worry so much? Cash out and enjoy a good life; the quality of life won't be poor.' I thought he made sense, so I planned to cash out 1.5 million USDT into my wallet first, and then exchange it for RMB.
