Virgin Voyages, the cruise line specializing in offering adults-only cruises, has announced that it will accept Bitcoin as payment for its newly launched annual program, which will go into effect in 2025.
According to a recent blog post, the company’s annual program will offer unlimited, first-come, first-served cruises throughout the year for $120,000 plus taxes Virgin Voyages has opened the door to paying with bitcoin, but has not yet indicated any possibility of expanding to offer payment options that include stablecoins or cryptocurrencies competing with bitcoin.
