#tiktok拆弹失败

TikTok faces legal challenges in the United States and has suffered a setback.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit rejected TikTok's request, ruling that the mandatory sale law enacted by Congress in the name of national security has passed constitutional scrutiny. TikTok must complete its divestiture by January 19, 2025, or its service providers could face fines of up to $850 billion. TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew stated that the next step will be to 'seek an injunction and wait for a review by the U.S. Supreme Court.' TikTok also released a statement saying it plans to submit the case to the Supreme Court and emphasized that if the ban against TikTok is not halted, over 170 million American users of TikTok, both domestically and overseas, will lose their opportunity to voice their opinions by January 19, 2025. Therefore, it can be said that TikTok has encountered a 'failure to defuse' in its legal challenges in the United States.
