Cryptoassets

Cryptoassets are virtual assets, that is, digital records of values, whose operations are executed and stored on a computer network. Cryptoassets are protected by cryptography, a process that encodes messages and data, in order to make them more secure during communication. The best-known technology behind the operation of cryptoassets is known as blockchain.

There are several types of cryptos on the market: cryptocurrencies, fungible tokens, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance protocols (DeFi), among others.
