On April 23, 2011, Mike Hearn sent an email to Nakamoto inquiring whether he planned to return to work on Bitcoin, to which Nakamoto replied that he was busy with other things since Bitcoin was already in reliable hands.

He sharply criticized the film for its false conclusions and stated that he was forced to hide to avoid attacks from bandits.
