šŸ‘€ Public attention is being directed to the right fields.

Memecoins are products, are public welfare, can stimulate technological innovation, and can also promote the evolution of human society (of course, evolution does not necessarily mean progress):

šŸ”ø AI Meme has sparked a wave of innovation for AI agents, and it has also raised public awareness of the 'AI threat'.
šŸ”ø Attention to DeSci has extended from biomedicine to the monopoly of academic freedom.

At the very least, Memecoins will not become a lament for Crypto, and the impact of Memecoins on the real world may already exceed that of Crypto.

Previously, I lamented: Memecoins are a new species, have already become an attention financial system centered around hot topics, culture, and creativity, and are constructing a brand new social movement and operational model.

And now we can see that Memecoins are a species with a very fast iteration speed and strong evolutionary ability.

At first, the Memecoins that became popular were those with low cognitive thresholds and that easily awakened public emotions, like dogs and cats, which lasted a long time and will continue: they have genuinely cultivated a large number of people to understand Meme and Crypto.

Then Meme began to have cultural attributes, with $PEPE being a typical example. After the super cycle narrative began in October, more niche and even serious Meme themes started to emerge, like $SPX6900 promoted by Muard.

With immense industry attention, Memecoins quickly began to transition from virtual to real: AI Meme and DeSci Meme followed one after another.

šŸ”ø There are so many VC projects combining AI and Crypto; interestingly, the biggest role of Crypto might just be giving AI agents their own accounts. (Many might not know, @truth_terminal became the first AI millionaire because of $GOAT.)

With AI Meme emerging, large amounts of money began to flow into AI x Crypto. The AI agent framework appeared in large numbers, and AI agents have the potential to become a native crypto field that can rival or even surpass DeFi in the crypto space.

Because of AI Meme, I started following @AISafetyMemes, and there is increasing evidence indicating that AI may really be protecting itself, self-replicating, and hiding its true self from humans.

šŸ”ø DeSci is also a prestigious descendant, with cz and Vitalik standing behind it. I don't have much feeling for several longevity drugs in Memes, but the $scihub that vigorously supports academic freedom makes me feel particularly good: this is the first meme I have experienced that directly contributes to a valuable public cause, which essentially achieves a certain degree of 'redistribution of social wealth'.

Speaking of which, Vitalik should still be the first in the industry to talk about the positive effects of Memecoins; that article was the one that changed my attitude towards Meme šŸ‘‰ https://x.com/MixWeb3/status/1774180803431498195…

Looking back, this has really happened in the last two months. The transition of Memecoins from virtual to real has been incredibly fast; now reading novels is not as interesting as reading meme narratives.

Of course, we all understand that the vast majority of people are more concerned about whether the returns will be 10 times or 100 times, but the topics have been seen by more people, public attention has been directed, and capital has also begun to focus on these fields.

Isn't this great? Those who like to speculate are enjoying themselves, and the fields that need attention are getting social recognition, while capital has found the right investment direction.

PS: I really hope to see a meme of Chinese culture; if it's as cool as a black Wukong level, then overseas capital will have to step in.

Now I increasingly like a term that overseas Crypto often uses: experiment.

Whether it’s the recently happened $GOAT, or my recent tracing of the history of the BTC ecological wizard community, or researching various attempts from the PEPE community, or experiencing the development of $Dog and $Pups, there are core figures persistently conducting interesting and shareable experiments, which continuously attract people to the community.

No matter how good a Meme concept is, without these continuous experiments, it probably won’t amount to much.

Of course, these experiments may also just be staged, may all be event marketing, may be deeply considered by conspiracy groups, or may be preventive measures for future exits.

But this experimental mindset seems to be a spirit that is very lacking in domestic communities.

In short, being in the Crypto field is actually a grand experiment. Perhaps we can’t initiate any experiments, but we can participate in more.
