How to use the cards in your hand to win

What types of cards are there? What is their function?

Cards in CA are divided into two categories:

Type 1. According to purpose: Card with "T" tag - trial card, card without "T" tag - NFT card.

Type 2. Based on factions: neutral factions and feature combination factions

Tip: All cards of different rarities have gold cards.

What is the difference between Gold Card and other cards?

Gold cards have higher glory points, which can help players accelerate the acquisition of ranking points, obtain season treasure chests, and unlock season exclusive cards. They can also help meet the cumulative Honor Point requirements for Ahoy Rank upgrades.

How to form a team for battle?

The battle team consists of two types of cards: member cards and captain cards. Each time, a leader leads 1-9 members.

The leader's faction determines the members available to you. When fighting in a team, you can only choose members of the same camp or neutral camp.

Rather than placing cards based on rarity, players should choose leaders that maximize the effectiveness of their core skill cards.

How to make good use of daily card fees, boosters and swaps before the game starts to help your team win?

  • Daily card fee: When starting a battle, in addition to configuring the team, you also need to pay attention to changes in daily card fees. If the total card fee of the team exceeds the battle requirements for the day, the team will not be able to participate in the battle. Therefore, it is important to maximize the number of team members.

  • Boosters: Boosters are foods that provide bonuses during combat. Players can choose power-ups that match their level and team composition before the battle.

  • Start exchanging positions: After matching with an opponent and before the countdown ends, players can check their team configuration and member skills. You have the opportunity to swap the positions of your team members to protect your core cards or counter the opponent's strategy. The adjustments of both sides will be revealed after the countdown is over, and guessing the opponent's prediction also adds to the fun of the game.

The lineup is almost the same, but I keep losing and can’t advance, what should I do?

1. Strengthen and develop cards

In Cards Ahoy!, cards can be upgraded outside of combat. As the player level increases, the level threshold of the card will also be unlocked. Higher "Ahoy" levels allow for higher level leaders, and higher level leaders can be paired with higher level members.

To upgrade cards, players need to consume the same cards. Different cards cannot be used interchangeably.

If you have a lot of duplicate cards that don’t need to be upgraded, you might consider burning them or alchemizing them.

  • Burn: Burning permanently destroys these cards and converts them into CAC, which is worth equal to the card's Glory Points. The rarer the card, the higher its value.

  • Alchemy: Combine cards of the same name with CAC to create new cards.

2. The relationship between some card skills

When evaluating the strength of each card, it's important to not just focus on their attack power. You also need to consider the skills the card carries. In Cards Ahoy!, many cards have their own unique abilities, and they are not meant to be fought alone.

For example, the linkage between the skills triggered by the character after the damage and the skills triggered by the card after the damage.

3. Obtain other cards in the lineup besides the Ahoy Box lottery to enrich your team lineup.

In Cards Ahoy!, you don't just have to rely on drawing Ahoy Boxes or using Battle Shells to get cards. There are three main ways to obtain cards:

A. Ahoy Box purchase: CAB/CAC is consumed, and 5 cards are drawn each time

B. Ahoy Ladder Season Box: One card at a time, the chance of getting the Ahoy Box is slim

Among them, seasonal treasure chests are divided into daily treasure chests and treasure chests given away at the end of the entire season. Both treasure chests will accumulate ladder points, but they are not distributed in real time. Daily chests will be given out the next day, and full season chests will be given out at the end of the season.

C. Alchemy: Combine cards with the same name and CAC to create new cards.

Among the three methods of obtaining cards, common cards and rare cards are interchangeable, but legendary cards and epic cards are separate. So if you want to get cards with special or powerful skills in your lineup, you have to actively participate in the battle!

I think PK battles are interesting. Why should I upgrade my level?

1. Rewards available for ranking in the ladder and changes in rewards:

Upgrading the Ahoy ladder not only allows you to obtain more CAC and season rank rewards, but also increases the probability of obtaining high-value cards in the season treasure chest.

2. Thresholds and requirements for ranking promotion:

Each time you move up the rankings, you need to accumulate enough ranking points to qualify for the next ranking and meet the minimum glory point requirements.

You can get ladder points by winning the battle, and no points will be deducted if you lose the battle.

Glory points can be obtained by accumulating non-experience cards.

3. How to maximize the season treasure chest?

After each battle, after the ladder points are settled, the winning streak and glory points will be provided with a point bonus based on a percentage. In addition to winning streaks (or using CAC to purchase a winning streak clover to maintain a winning streak), the more Glory Points you accumulate, the more ladder points you will receive for each victory. This gives you access to more Seasonal Chests!
