Project Introduction
Bitlayer, as the leader of the Bitcoin Layer2 ecosystem, adopts Layered Virtual Machine technology, combining Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) and Optimistic Verification (OP) mechanisms to support a wide range of computing tasks. In addition, Bitlayer has built a dual-channel, two-way locked asset bridge through its innovative OP-DLC and BitVM bridge technology, inheriting the security of Bitcoin's first layer.
Funding Status: Bitlayer is the first Bitcoin Layer2 based on BitVM, officially announced $9 million in funding in October, with a total funding of $25 million, led by Framework and ABCDE, with participation from OKX Ventures and several others.
