Cryptocurrency Bull Market Still In Early Stages, Say Investors At Prague Conference
According to Odaily, during the Emergence conference in Prague, several cryptocurrency investors expressed the view that the current bull market cycle is still in its early stages, with retail participation far from reaching the levels seen in 2021. Viktor Fischer, managing partner at Rockaway X, noted that despite the high bullish sentiment on social media, growing support from U.S. politicians for cryptocurrencies, and Federal Reserve Chairman Powell referring to Bitcoin as digital gold, retail involvement remains significantly lower than in 2021.
Investment trends highlighted at the conference indicate that venture capital firms are particularly focused on artificial intelligence agents, considering them the most significant trend following decentralized finance (DeFi). This trend is being compared in importance to the proof-of-stake blockchains of 2018 and the DeFi summer of 2020.
