CryptoQuant CEO Explains Why the “Alt Season is Delayed.”
According to Ki Young Ju, institutional investors are not going to transfer assets from Bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies.
CEO of the analytical platform CryptoQuant Ki Young Ju explained why the “alt season is delayed.” The expert believes that the current Bitcoin rally is primarily due to demand from institutional investors and spot ETFs.
The CryptoQuant CEO added that in order for altcoins to reach a new all-time high in market capitalization, they will need a significant influx of fresh capital into cryptocurrency exchanges. According to him, the market capitalization of altcoins is below the previous all-time high, which indicates a decrease in fresh liquidity.
Young Ju also noted that if FOMO among retail investors recovers, activity on crypto exchanges could increase, which would “potentially set the stage for an altcoin season.”
