The FOMO of DeSci stands out particularly in this Memecoin-dominated market.
On one hand, DeSci and Memecoin are completely two extremes:
"Boring science" vs. adorable dogs and cats...
And the practical value of DeSci tokens even exceeds that of most DeFi tokens.
But I always thought that practicality would hinder the explosive rise of tokens and set a ceiling for them?
For example, $RIF or $URO grants partial rights to cocktails and has the potential to achieve profit sharing through authorization.
However, even if the experiment is successful, the real implementation of these visions may take years.
DeSci inevitably brings to mind the ICO era of 2017, which was filled with ambitions to change the world.
However, this time we are really doing it, and not just staying at the white paper stage.
Nonetheless, DeSci is not a completely new narrative—similar concepts have been heard a few years ago.
The triggering points that seem to drive the speculative frenzy of DeSci include:

Degens actively looking for the "next big event" in a bull market;

Pumpdotscience has launched tokens in a pumpdotfun memecoin style.
The formation of narratives often seems random, requiring just a few key trigger points to ignite a frenzy.
But who could have predicted that DeSci would spark such a level of FOMO?
Perhaps, DeSci is like a journey of atonement for all our degen sins.
