At 19:00, the check-in is now normal, check-in is on BNBChain, BNB is required as Gas. After on-chain analysis (see image two). Currently, the check-in Gas is about 0.3u, and during off-peak times it may drop to around 0.2u. Whether it can be exploited or not is uncertain, but you can check in during off-peak times to reduce this cost.

After understanding, the gas used for official website check-ins on opBNB chain only costs a few cents, but redeeming points also uses the BSC chain which requires spending this 0.3u. It is generally accepted that the cost is around 0.3u per transaction, so 0.2~0.3u for a single check-in is a basic price.

As of 17:40, the check-in has not yet been fixed.

It is stated that the 10 points for inviting large accounts require your small account to complete those 3 tasks + at least 1 check-in. That 1 check-in is probably to prevent studios from abusing the invitation system.
