The token's market value soared to $25 million, and its sale brought the hacker $BTC Andy Airy, founder of Truth Terminal, had his account on the social media platform X hacked. The hacker posted a contract address to sell tokens with the ticker IB, and his account earned 12.5% of the #token placement.

a chatbot promoting the token, which is currently making big #waves in the #cryptocurrency sector, caused unsuspecting investors to speculate, increasing the market value of the token to over $25 million. According to DEXScreener, the hacker made more than $600,000 in profit in the process.

The tokens then began to sell off heavily as the attackers liquidated their holdings, causing their price to plummet by nearly 98% to a market value of $500,000. The price of the tokens subsequently recovered, but this was attributed to a community takeover.

He explained that the hackers gained access to the account through his #cell phone company, suggesting a SIM swapping attack.
