For emerging chains like BounceBit, establishing a self-sustaining ecosystem becomes increasingly difficult without a robust, interconnected liquidity framework to bridge and integrate assets across mainstream smart contract networks.
Proposed Solution

The Bread & Butter Liquidity Scheme is a cross-chain liquidity strategy that bridges BounceBit token (BB) to major EVM-compatible blockchains and the Bitcoin CeDeFi ecosystem. Supporting multiple liquidity end points live on major chains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana.
We call it the Bread & Butter liquidity scheme because it forms the essential foundation of our ecosystem, much like bread and butter are staples in many diets. The BB coin serves as the "bread" - the base of our financial structure, while the various liquidity pools and mechanisms act as the "butter," spreading utility and value across networks. $BB, our foundational "bread," will have deep liquidity pools on mainstream EVM networks. Meanwhile, tokens on the BounceBit chain will be paired with native gas tokens on mainstream EVM chains (e.g., ETH, BNB, Polygon) and with Bitcoin-based CeDeFi assets (e.g., BBTC, BBUSD), creating a nourishing spread of liquidity across multiple networks.
Projects launched on BounceBit will have optional liquidity on other chains with $BB liquidity pairs. Users from other ecosystems can access BounceBit ecosystem tokens without coming to BounceBit Chain, and prices and liquidity are rebalanced through arbitrage - smoothing out price difference like butter on bread. When users purchase the token on Ethereum, liquidity will be channeled back to BounceBit Chain. The liquidity channel is built to serve intent-based users who want to access and trade BounceBit tokens without bridging to BounceBit chain in the first place, making our "Bread & Butter" offering even more convenient and accessible.

The BounceBit team is launching the first proof of concept with MultiBit Bridge @Multibit_Bridge as the core bridging partner. The first tokens that are bridged are $NOTBB and $LNNG, the most viral memes on BounceBit at the moment.
Other ecosystem tokens will follow soon, which tokens will be bridged depends on demand. Users across platforms can trade BounceBit ecosystem tokens on Ethereum and BNB Chain using ETH and BNB. Each trade will benefit $BB as it channels liquidity back to BounceBit Chain.
