2️⃣ The Block: Cryptocurrency storage infrastructure provider Qredo has withdrawn from the hybrid exchange project Ankex due to financial difficulties. 🔗

3️⃣ Casio: Japanese electronics manufacturer #casio has released digital G-Shock watches as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on Ethereum (ETH). Owners of these iconic virtual watches will also receive a range of exclusive gifts. One can purchase a single piece for 0.01 ETH, or $230. 🕰️

4️⃣ Senado Federal: Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has signed a law introducing a 15% tax on cryptocurrency profits held by residents of the country on foreign cryptocurrency exchanges. The government aims to collect around 30 billion reais ($4 billion) through taxes next year. 🚀

5️⃣ Iris Energy: Australian mining company Iris Energy will increase its bitcoin #mining capacity to 10 EH/s after acquiring new miners from Bitmain. The company has entered into an agreement with the Chinese manufacturer to purchase 8380 Antminer T21 for $22.3 million. Shipment is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024. ⛏️
