The Ministry of Communication and Informatics together with PT Pos Indonesia officially launched and signed the First Day Cover (SHP) of the Cenderawasih Art Mural series NFT Stamps to coincide with the 79th postal and telecommunications service day commemoration ceremony at the PT Pos Indonesia Head Office.

The launch of this stamp is part of the 2024 Stamp Issuance Program, which is in line with the government's efforts to advance the postal and telecommunications sectors through the adoption of digital technology.

The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatics Nezar Patria, Director General of Postal and Informatics Services Wayan Toni Supriyanto, Director of Post DJPPI Kominfo Gunawan Hutagalung, President Director of PT Pos Indonesia Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, Chairman of the Association of Telecommunication Network Providers (Apjatel) Jerry Mangasas Swandy, and other invited guests.

The Cenderawasih Series NFT stamps are the first NFT stamps in Indonesia that use the twin stamps concept, namely, stamps that have physical and digital versions. This innovation aims to introduce new technology in the stamp industry, while maintaining the historical and artistic value of stamps as collectibles.

The launch of this stamp marks a new chapter in the world of Indonesian philately with the presence of NFT Stamps which are digital collections based on blockchain technology. Unlike traditional stamps that have a physical form, these NFT stamps are stored in the digital world and their authenticity is guaranteed through blockchain technology.

With the presence of the Cenderawasih Series NFT Stamps, it is hoped that the public can become more involved in the development of the digital world, and support the national digital transformation that continues to be intensified by the government towards Indonesia Emas 2045.
