To connect your MetaMask wallet to the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network, you need to manually add the BSC network to MetaMask. Here are the steps to do so:
### Step 1: Install MetaMask
- If you haven't installed MetaMask yet, you can download it as a browser extension (Chrome or Firefox) or as a mobile app. [MetaMask link](https://metamask.io/)
### Step 2: Add BNB Smart Chain Network
1. Open MetaMask in your browser or mobile phone.
2. Click on the account avatar (top right corner).
3. Select Settings.
4. In the side menu, select Networks.
5. Click on the Add Network button.
### Step 3: Enter BNB Smart Chain Network Details
In the window that will appear, you will need to enter the following information for the BNB Smart Chain network:
- Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
- New RPC URL:
`https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/`
- Chain ID: 56
- Currency Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL:
`https://bscscan.com/`
After entering the above information, click Save.
### Step 4: Check network connection
- After saving, you should see Binance Smart Chain successfully added to your MetaMask wallet.
- You can now switch between networks through the drop-down menu at the top of the MetaMask window.
- You will notice that the default symbol of the network is BNB.
### Step 5: Add BSC tokens to MetaMask
- You can now send and receive BNB and **BSC network compatible tokens** on MetaMask.
- If you want to add other tokens to your wallet, you can manually enter the token contract by clicking Add Token and entering the token details from BscScan.

- Make sure you have some BNB in your wallet to cover transaction fees on the BNB Smart Chain, as it uses BNB as the base currency to pay fees.
You have now successfully connected your MetaMask wallet to the BNB Smart Chain.
