The First post.

As I am Brazilian, the first content I will bring here is about how much you need to buy a subscription through a conservative investment (FIXED INCOME).

What I should analyze here now is how much it costs to have a PLAY STATION PLUS EXTRA subscription.

Today, 10/6/2023, it costs 475.90 annual subscription which, when divided by 12, is approximately 39.66 per month.

At this point we will not analyze the benefits, which is something that depends from person to person.

1. Investment in fixed income is low risk and highly liquid. I consider TESOURO SELIC to be the best option.

2. We need to consider the tax at the time of redemption. Redemption must take place annually. The rate for redemption in one year is 17.5%. So just do (100-17.5)% and multiply by Gross Profit.

However, the subscription price may increase and we will need to adjust it to the new price.

3. The rate that must be considered is 7.45% gross, net is around 6.14%. Finally, we just need to take the annual or monthly price and divide it by the rate and we will know how much is needed.

(475.9÷6.14%) = 7750.82 Annual or (39.66÷0.00511) = 7761.25. Monthly.

4. Considering that 7761 reais buys a new PS5 and you could do several other things with that money if someone wants to buy and maintain an annual subscription without considering possible price increases.
