Created in 2009, the Enjin project is a network of interconnected blockchain-related gaming products. It allows players and developers to buy and sell in-game digital items for real-world value, tokenized on the Ethereum blockchain. The native coin of the Enjin project is the Enjin coin.
The project was informed by the goal of creating on-chain software tools that make it easier to create, trade and monetize creative products with blockchain. With Enjin technology, businesses and developers can back up and monetize their assets through the Enjin token.
The founders of the Enjin project include CEO and creative director Maxim Blagov and chief technical officer Radomski Witek. Enjin specifically integrated the Ethereum blockchain in 2012 when Radomski realized he could turn his idea into reality through Ethereum smart contracts.
