What is Render?
Render is a platform that relies on blockchain technology to decentralize computer graphics rendering. To do so, it brings together users who are willing to sell the idle processing power of their GPUs (Graphics Processing Units).
The platform was launched in 2017 to solve ongoing problems in the animation and visual effects industry, especially those related to accessibility and the cost of high-quality rendering via computer hardware.
With this proposal, Render's approach not only maximizes the use of existing hardware resources, but also offers a more environmentally friendly way of rendering by reducing the need for additional hardware.
