The US 2024

Sometimes reality 'paints a different picture'.

While July's consumer price index is 2.9%, inflation is actually much higher in many necessities:

1. Car insurance inflation: 18.6%

2. Transportation inflation: 8.8%

3. Hospital services inflation: 6,1%

4. Homeowner services inflation: 5.3%

5. Rent inflation: 5,1%

6. Electricity price inflation: 4.9%

7. Car repair price inflation: 4.6%

8. Food price inflation away from home: 4.1%

Since January 2020, the U.S. dollar has lost 25% of its purchasing power

Inflation has essentially worsened for 3 years in a row and prices continue to rise.

Truth is many necessities are slowly but surely turning into 'luxury items' for many so to speak.

Unfortuanately many countries are in the same boat as the US and it is having a negative impact on available investment funds and cash flow of 'households, smaller investors and traders.
