Crypto startups are starting to attract the attention of venture capital investors who are pouring in US$2.7 billion or Rp43.1 trillion. The figure is from the second quarter of this year and shows a 2.5% increase from the first quarter even though the market is slowing down.

It is known that the increase in venture capital funds in the second quarter was because crypto venture fund founders were focusing on infrastructure projects such as new blockchains.

"Although still far below the highest level in 2021, crypto venture fund investment peaked in March and April 2024. Then the venture fund market slowed down again in late April and early May," said Dragonfly crypto venture fund general partner Rob Hadick.
