Streetlight effect: What is more dangerous than blind spots is the bias of the purpose! The streetlight effect refers to the tendency of people to look for information in easily accessible places rather than in more difficult but potentially more critical places. This metaphor comes from a story about a man looking for his lost keys on the street. Although he did not lose his keys on the street, he looked for them on the street because the light there was brighter and easier to find.

People always judge the nature and causes of some things based on past experience, secular concepts and instinctive feelings. In fact, such a "purpose" bias will make us more biased and further away from the truth.
