I have been playing with TRB recently. Last year, I wrote a reverse arbitrage idea for PHB. If applied to TRB, after the three fee settlement periods yesterday, the decline offset the funding fee and could arbitrage 2%-4%. As for the day before yesterday, I didn't play it, but I looked at the K and it was profitable. After seeing the long shadow with large volume at 11:30 last night, I felt that the opportunity had come, because normally, before the TRB settlement period, there will be many active longs to eat the fee and active shorts to avoid the fee, and the trend will not be like this. So I switched my thinking. After the funding fee is smoothed, half of the position is left empty. The trend is okay, and it has not turned back all the way to 26. In fact, I didn't make much money, but it was quite comfortable.
I said the day before yesterday that you don’t need to rush to do the high part, it’s too difficult. The problem of many people is that they have been tossing around at the high point for several days, and have repeatedly shorted around 40, and paid the funding fee, and finally closed when the trend started. Shorting is a percentage gain, and the profit and loss ratio is very poor. Not all currencies are 1+1 in difficulty, and everyone will short. Repeatedly tossing at high levels, closing before the trend starts, and not daring to open the position back after the trend starts, this is a common problem for leeks.
I guess some people still don't understand the opening and closing points of the delivery that I sent. It happened to be opened with a small account that took over the actual trading. If you have been watching TRB and have been shorting it, but you didn't take advantage of this market, then there is no doubt that there is something wrong with you, and it is a big problem. If you use the same coin and the same routine again, you still can't make money.
But I still think that TRB, after all the trouble, the final return is still very poor, which is very boring and meaningless. It is better to have a bigger pattern in the early stage and do more to gain and gain.
