Can HashKey bring PFP back to life?
"Bad projects die, bad people leave. Bad management screws up everything. But NFTs will never die." - by nvuwa
Today I will introduce to you PFP DAN led by HashKeyNFT, which is also the PFP I am currently using.
DAN is centered around @nvuwa and is led by @Tendomushy@manjusyaga@LeeTaegeuk
The art group formed by DAN is a cross-border art group in China, Japan and South Korea. The funding background of DAN is HashKey, which has been gaining momentum in Hong Kong recently. The following is the main text
1. Art that draws on Asian characteristics
DAN is an avatar collection based on Asian culture, combining the advantages of Japanese, Korean, and European and American comic styles. Artist @nvuwa used a lot of techniques and tools, plus complex manual steps, to achieve excellent results in technology and art.

The team fully understands the importance of image quality itself in building a meaningful community. In order to maximize the Asian recognition of "Dan" while taking into account the extreme diversity, the team adopted a vibrant red background and color scheme. The team's resonance with the rich and diverse cultures of Asia is the driving force behind the mission. DAN will realize the most iconic Asian avatars by focusing on Asia, and embark on this journey with a team of artists through a large number of attribute designs. The collection uses the traditional Asian key color red as the base color, and collects many Asian visual features in major mainstream media. These include more than 200 modern and ancient classic hairstyles for men and women, thousands of accessories and clothing, more than 160 Asian facial expressions, and more than 100 Asian cultural characteristics embedded in the ancient and modern professional characteristics. In the design of the attribute characteristics, hundreds of Asian legends and myths were referenced and modernized. Not only that, @nvuwa also Asianized various traditional Western cultures, such as nuns wearing gold embroidery.
2. Build a real and effective community
DAN is committed to building a real and effective community, so that holders can truly become stakeholders. "Dan" is not in a hurry to generate profits through the sale of PFP itself, but decided to make it all free, focusing on the selection of community participants and future joint growth plans, and truly advancing and retreating with the community. DAN also stated that it will not force supporters to do things like hard invitations and excessive chats. There are no emotionally stimulating announcements. The team focuses on finding positive and kind people, integrating them and becoming part of the team, connecting resources together, and benefiting all community members. At PFPAsia, the focus is on cultivating a real Web3 community, where there are no hateful BOTs, bulk followers who are crazy about white orders, excessive speculation, and malicious hype noise. In fact, DAN welcomes independent and excellent individuals from all walks of life who are passionate about NFT, rather than evil magicians.
3. Build a brand and a more sustainable development model
@nvuwa told me that although it is the winter of NFT, it is not "NFT is dead" as many people say. In fact, bad projects die, bad people leave. Bad management screws up everything. But NFT will never die.

The DAN team still believes that this is one of the best times to awaken cultural awareness and create loyal believers of brands. NFT is the best way to manage intellectual property assets with the community and stakeholder economy. Owning an iconic avatar has great potential in building a vibrant community. Behind PFP is a beautiful fusion of brands, intellectual property (IP), logos, voting rights, dividends, memberships, luxury goods, art, fashion and even digital twins. To make these ideas a reality, the entire NFT market may lack comprehensive management tools to facilitate the entire journey. There are already worthy solutions, including Snapshot for decision-making, MadeByApe for creation, SmartContracts for execution, CollabLand for collaboration, and MPC for enhanced functionality. Many projects often encounter challenges after completing financing through ETH sales. This usually occurs due to excessive incentives and insufficient fund lock-ups, and it is difficult for community members of most teams to monitor the allocation and trajectory of these resources. In addition, the lack of laws and regulations further complicates the problem, making it challenging for the Web3 community to distinguish between the consumer and investment attributes of NFTs. These factors have led to a widespread cold winter in the NFT market in recent times. While NFTs are inherently unique, the presentation of these assets often lacks uniqueness, blurring the lines between different standards such as 721 and 1155. Interestingly, the only difference between the vast majority of NFTs and ERC20 tokens is that the minimum unit cannot be less than 1.

Therefore, DAN's first priority is to provide stakeholders with excellent PFP. The original vision was to connect creators with influential JPEGs, not focusing on indicators such as "total volume", "Mint price", and "market maker line drawing". Nvuwa promises not to create a "Mint mint with super control by the founding team" strategy. Instead, it focuses on solving more important problems, "resource allocation", "collective development", "fair and transparent contribution rewards", "transformation from pure speculation to investment", "not just an economic model, but a business model", "mutual learning and growth", and "bringing sustainable and lasting benefits to all stakeholders". What DAN really wants is a "decentralized collaborative model." From the "long" history of NFT, which is not long ago, most of our attention is focused on overseas culture because the global cultural trend is dominated by Europe and the United States. Perhaps, now is the best time for us to embark on a journey to redefine, improve and reshape Asian culture.
