Ethereum approached $2,400 after a daily increase, BNB rose and approached the $240 level after a 5% jump, while XRP approached $0.7 with a 5% increase.
The top ten cryptocurrencies recorded gains almost identical to XRP.
With most other altcoins on the rise, the total market cap of cryptocurrencies has increased by more than $40 billion, exceeding $1.62 trillion according to CoinMarketCap.
