《大梦一》

I have been resting in bed for more than two weeks. Apart from meetings, I have been thinking about some seemingly useless questions. Some of them have been figured out, and some have not. I wrote them down to ask more friends for advice.

1. Does the WEB3 industry still have a future?

The reason why I have been focusing on the blockchain game track is that I am a game fan and I have a top-level thinking line in my head: if WEB3 has a future, then WEB3 games must have a future. Before, whether it was designing economic models or writing investment research reports, I was aiming for the second half of the sentence. I didn’t think too much about the first half. I always firmly believed that the first half was the axiom of the universe. Is this still necessary to consider?

However, this so-called bull market process has made me constantly question this axiom. In addition to the so-called three major positives: BTC and ETH ETFs, BTC halving, and the expectation of a US dollar interest rate cut, what progress and innovation has been made in this industry?

Meme? BTC ecosystem? Isn’t the BTC ecosystem also a meme? Some of the original characteristics of blockchain, distribution, decentralization, traceability, which product uses these characteristics and allows users to actually use them and feel that they are useful? Almost everyone, including myself, is lost in the "short-term wealth", the gains and losses after comparing with each other, the anxiety after buying high and selling low, and the community environment full of hostility.

This is human nature, and there is no need to criticize it from a moral high ground. But how to break this? If it is not broken, does it mean there is no future?
