"South Asian" is an awful 🇺🇸 CIA-origin term to erase 🇮🇳 India. Here you use it to erase Hindus.

Would DNC refer to Italian-Americans as "South European Americans" and a Catholic festival as belonging to one geographic area? Self-reflect.

"South Asianism" been pushed with an agenda so that "South Asian American" from zero usage has overtaken "Indian American."

"South Asian" exists to erase India. It is a racist term of cultural denial, as offensive as the "n-word.". We must resist it.

Just use Indian or Indian subcontinent or greater India, Bharata Kandam. A lot of Pakistani-owned restaurants call their cuisine Indian cuisine.

Indian is the umbrella term. It’s also been around for some 3000 years. Just like American can mean US or North America🇺🇸

Bharat 🇮🇳 is 1.3 billion people, bigger than any other continent. It's a 3000-year-old term. It does not need to be included in another bigger grouping for identity.

There are no "North Asians." 🇨🇳 Chinese Americans are Chinese Americans.

"South Asian" was made up to erase India.

"South Asian" was invented, to "erase nation of origin."

But only of Indians. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian-Americans are not doing this.

Try erasing borders of 🇺🇸USA or 🇨🇳China. CIA created "South Asian" as an imperialistic power play.

One does not need to erase one's identity to create political power 🤡🤦‍♂️

An Asian film festival in a US university has films categorized as "Vietnamese" "Cambodian" "Chinese" and "South Asian" (all from India). Political power?

It's deliberate erasure.
