$$$SUI $Good news for cryptocurrency enthusiasts! The Sui network will expand its custody capabilities through an agreement with Copper, a provider of custody, prime and collateral services. Sui seeks to increase its appeal to institutional finance. 🚀
Sui already offers Copper custody support for native Sui tokens, such as the Ondo USD Yield (USDY) stablecoin. New custody features for staking and other decentralized finance functions will be implemented that will improve options for clients issuing stablecoins and real-world assets.
Sui is a layer-1 blockchain and smart contract platform developed by US-based Mysten Labs. Since April, Sui has also been home to FDUSD, a native unwrapped stablecoin offered by the Hong Kong-based First Digital group.
Copper is a UK-based service whose ClearLoop technology is used to settle trades and manage collateral. Real-world tokenized assets have reached a market capitalization of $8 billion.
