$PIXEL is a GameFi token. Wondered what GameFi really is and what's different?
GameFi is the combination of DeFi (Decentralised Finance) and Gaming. Having started in about the late 2019 to early 2020, it is developed into blockchain tech, and facilitates a zonal gaming, playing, earning and trading real cryptocurrency.
Here are some differentiations:
Usually, computer or video games are standalone separately debugged branded releases that you purchase or rent, to play. However, GameFi is the gaming 'zone' of our blockchain technology. Therefore it is an on-chain zone, and unlike usual non-crypto games, which may or may not be involved with real and withdrawable money and earnings, GameFi, rather, is centric to cryptocurrency, token and NFTs, and is based on crypto transactions, trade and even memes, that are available to purchase, own and also trade.
Video games are finite and separately tested games, that may be owned and disposed whole as the purchaser has thought fit, but GameFi is not a finite game, but a zone, where multiple stories, games, arcades, sports, etc., may be, and also may be a merged or fine exit into DeFi or out of the chain. GameFi, altogether is not available to the players' disposal, but in-game assets that are contractual sales may be available to procure.
Games are invoiced at purchase, and may be occasionally rewarded from, from server connections, but GameFi uses rewards, trades and in-game 'assets' with smart contracts, that are directly executed on-spot, at separate and different player discretions.
