What stands out to me about NIGHT generating DUST is how quietly it changes the role of tokenomics.
Most token systems still feel transactional at their core. You hold the asset, then later you decide whether using the network is worth spending more. That gap matters. It creates friction, even when people do not say it out loud. Every action carries a small pause. A calculation. A moment of hesitation.
With NIGHT, I see a different structure taking shape. If holding it continuously generates DUST for usage, then access is no longer treated like a separate event. It starts to feel built into the system itself. That may sound subtle, but I think it changes user behavior more than most people realize.
People are more likely to explore when the path in front of them feels open. They are more likely to stay active when every interaction does not feel like a fresh cost decision. Over time, that can shape the culture of a network. Usage becomes less occasional, less forced, and more natural. Not because demand is being hyped, but because participation becomes easier to sustain.
I also think this changes what it means to hold the token.
