Another address – silent for weeks – quietly accumulated 10,800 ETH for $17.94 million, at an average price of $1,661 per coin over three days.
This isn't panic-buying the bottom. This is systematic accumulation.

Futures: Binance hits records, leverage is boiling 📈
Open interest on Binance just jumped to 3.7 million ETH – an all-time high for the exchange. Binance now controls over 44% of all Ethereum futures worldwide.
The taker buy/sell ratio (buyers vs sellers in the futures market) climbed to 1.0. From 0.95 two weeks ago. Buyers are coming back.
Warning: If ETH drops below 893 million in longs** get liquidated. If ETH breaks above 586 million in shorts** get cooked.
That's a knife on a string. And someone's about to pull it.
Yesterday total liquidations: $275 million – $107M longs, 11.88 million**. Ouch. 🤕

Technical: zero momentum, but RSI is screaming "oversold" 📉
RSI at 30.5 – dancing on the edge of oversold. Historically, this level marked important bottoms. MACD is flat at zero. Momentum froze. Neither buyers nor sellers have strength.
Price is trading about 55% below the 200-day moving average ($2,421). This kind of deviation usually led to violent rallies in the past.
Support: $1,600 – bulls defending this level. $1,589 – below that triggers an avalanche of longs. Next: $1,547–1,609. Deeper: delta price around $700.
Resistance: $1,680–1,700 – a sell wall. $1,739 – critical level. Then $1,829 → $2,010.
Short-term according to Gate's analysis: $1,660 is the lifeline. Hold above → $1,715–1,720. Slip below → $1,630, then $1,600.

Where does all this lead? 🤷‍♀️
Ethereum is one of the most schizophrenic stories in crypto right now.
On one hand – fundamentals hitting the ceiling: network activity at ATH, staking bursting at the seams, coins flowing out of exchanges.
On the other – macro shit and fear keeping the price in a chokehold.
Whales are accumulating. Record OI suggests a big move is close. Direction? Indicators say two different things.
RSI is so oversold that history suggests a bounce is weeks, maybe days away. But delta price around $700 (an indicator that marked previous bottoms) suggests bears might have more room to run.
My gut says: we see $1,400 first. Maybe even $1,500. That's where many will give up. People will lose faith.
And then – at the moment of maximum panic – the heavy weight will move in for the real bottom.
Looks like another classic shakeout to me. Designed to take your coins if you panic and sell.
