I went from 0 to 40k followers by being cringe.

This was me at 2k followers in 2022.

And it was in 2022, I did the cringiest thing imagineable.

I centered my brand around a dead project: Terra Luna.

Now I know what you're thinking...

"Why would you ever do something like that? No one cared about a token that went to zero."

But.... that's where you'd be wrong.

I actually realized this was a massive opportunity at the time.

1) There were A LOT of people that still cared about the future of Terra.

2) And there were very very few Terra creators left. (Most burned out and left in shame)

How did I know all this? Because I was one of the many people that lost tons of money in Luna.

I knew that there were other LUNAtics out there desperate to know:

> What was happening next?

> Were projects on Terra going to other ecosystems?

> What was happening with Luna 2?

> Was Do Kwon really doing an airdrop?

And so I spent weeks trying to answer these questions.

For more than FORTY consecutive weeks, I posted a Terra Weekly thread.

It took hard work.

It took discipline.

Some of my threads were 25+ tweets long.

I was THE Terra news guy. And believe me, it was cringe.

But it paid off in the end.

No, Luna 2.0 did not survive, but I gained so much from this experience:

> I bootstrapped an audience and formed meaningful connections with my followers.

> I got the opportunity to meet project founders.

> I was offered a part time position at a Cosmos validator.

> I leveled up my writing skills 100x.

Why am I telling you all this?

Because I want you to stop worrying about what others think.

Being cringe is not handicap.

It's a super power.

I've carried this lesson with me ever since my Terra days, and it's how I've built my brand to over 40k followers today.

Be yourself, be authentic, be different, and the results will follow.
