There are rumors that Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell may resign on Monday.

The markets or bitcoin haven't reacted much at the moment. If the news is true, it will be perceived as a negative development for the independence of the Fed.

If a president comes who will lower interest rates in the short term, of course, it could give us a bull market for a year. But in the medium term, the independence of monetary policy is more valuable.
