To be clear: Both buyback/burn and staking have their place in tokenomics. But they create value differently. Buybacks provide short-term price support and token scarcity. Staking incentivizes network participation and long-term sustainability. Smart protocols leverage both strategically.

Buyback and burn: A startup sacrificing growth potential by using revenue to repurchase its own equity. Staking: Compensating participants who provide essential services that generate protocol revenue. One diverts resources from reinvestment. The other builds infrastructure for sustainable growth. Not the same.

I met some pretty exciting young founders at @ETHGlobal Prague building on @worldcoin Pretty cool to see. One founder has a simple twist on a classic app that sounds great. I am sworn to secrecy for now but Ngl- might angel.

Just did a deep dive comparing @arbitrum DAO vs @Uniswap governance with AI tools 🤖 📊 Key findings: • Arbitrum: 9x more participants (444K vs 48K) due to L2 accessibility • Uniswap: More operational maturity despite fewer participants • Delegate chats have totally different vibes - "startup energy" vs "boardroom focus" Used @Tally_xyz API + Telegram analysis to compare participation patterns, proposal activity, and community cultures. AI made it possible to analyze thousands of messages and governance data in minutes.
