According to Odaily Planet Daily, the "Regional Anti-Money Laundering Capacity Building Workshop" co-organized by Hong Kong Customs and the University of Hong Kong concluded on June 12. The purpose of this event was to strengthen Customs' capacity to combat money laundering, particularly regarding the risks associated with virtual assets. Hong Kong Customs and the University of Hong Kong are collaborating to develop a digital tool for tracking cryptocurrency transactions used in suspected money laundering schemes.
