According to Foresight News, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has released a proposal seeking public feedback on regulations concerning stablecoins and cryptocurrency custody. Described as the "latest milestone on the path to cryptocurrency regulation," the draft is informed by previous roundtable discussions and industry feedback. The FCA's proposed rules aim to ensure that regulated stablecoins maintain their value. Additionally, the FCA plans to collaborate with the Bank of England for stablecoin oversight. The deadline for feedback is set for July 31, 2025.
