According to Foresight News, Singapore regulators have urged unlicensed crypto trading platforms to cease operations in the country as soon as possible. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) stated that this move should not come as a surprise to the industry.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore issued a policy document on May 30, 2025, requiring crypto service providers without a DTSP license to stop providing services to overseas customers by June 30, 2025. MAS emphasized that there will be no grace period, and violators will face penalties in accordance with the law.
